INTERN/GAP YEAR OPPORTUNITY at St Francis Church, Luton from September 2009.

This is a great opportunity for a young person who wants to get a picture of life close up in a parish. The internship will be a general one with opportunities for ministry across all areas of parish life.  For someone asking the questions, it is an ideal time to think about whether God is calling you to ministry.

Training and support will be provided, with an opportunity to link into the training programme of another Luton church.

This is Christian Aid’s Gap Year programme, open to 18-25 year olds.

STEP consists of a collection of volunteers from churches in the St Albans & Harpenden area, keen to be involved in their local schools. STEP wants to be involved in the holistic education of teenagers and specifically blowing the dust off Christianity. They specialise in training teenagers as leaders & offer 'Year Out' opportunities.
