Leaders' Stuff
One of our main aims is to support those of you working with young people. Youth workers are always after resources so this section has downloadable copies of our latest mailing, along with information about other resources we have found useful, whether Diocesan or from other organisations. If you have resources you recommend do let us know, we need to share the good stuff we find.
We are inundated with stuff about best practice, the need to do things the right way, checks we should undertake, risk assessment, the list goes on. So you'll find some best practice guides to help you handle these areas with confidence and ease.
NCVYS (the National Council for Voluntary Youth Services) have produced 2 guides to getting into formal youth work / qualifications. You can download here their 'Intro to youth work' sheet and 'Qualifications in youth work' sheet.
