Working with other churches and Christian organisations
We do an increasing number of events and activities in partnership with various churches and Christian organizations that are in the area. None of us have the same areas, so it is a real patchwork of relationships and links.County wide
Across the diocese there a wide number of different youth organisations and groups. These are gathered together under the Councils for Youth Organisations. One covers Hertfordshire and the other covers Bedfordshire and Luton. We are heavily involved in both of these and so benefit from positive relationships with a wide number of organisations we would otherwise rarely meet.We are also involved in various other forums around the county, for example Connexions.
Regional
We link in through the CVYS’s to a network across the eastern Region, so get a picture of what is going on. We also meet together as Diocesan Youth Officers from the various dioceses across the same area.Watch this space for more information on these partnerships – page still under development.
